The Bangalore University was set up on 10 July 1964 as a federal university. In the start, the University was built around two premier institutes of learning the central college and the University Of Vishvesarya College Of Engineering.The University is one of the Hot Spots of learning in the Bangalore City.University has 6 faculties,Arts, Science, Commerce & Management, Education, Law and Engineering.
